Attachment-Focused Therapy for Adults and Couples

Sessions are available virtually throughout New York State, with in-person options in Downtown Manhattan

I offer therapy for adults and couples seeking deeper understanding, emotional flexibility, and more connected relationships. My work is collaborative and attachment-focused, with attention to both insight and lived emotional experience. Services are tailored to your goals and the specific challenges you’re navigating.

Individual Therapy

I work with adults who are capable and self-reflective, yet feel stuck in repeating patterns, anxiety, or relationship stress. Despite insight and effort, the same dynamics continue to surface---in work, relationships, or internally.

Our work focuses on slowing things down and making sense of what drives these patterns, developing greater emotional awareness and flexibility. Over time, clients often describe feeling more grounded, more connected to themselves, and better able to navigate relationships, stress, and life transitions with clarity and self-trust

Individual therapy may be helpful for concerns related to anxiety, mood, relationships, identity, or periods of transition.

Couples Therapy

Many couples come to therapy feeling stuck in painful cycles of conflict or distance, unsure how to reconnect despite caring deeply for one another. I work with couples to interrupt these patterns, repair emotional wounds, and rebuild connection with greater clarity and compassion

Drawing from emotionally focused and mindfulness-informed approaches, I help partners slow down reactive cycles and communicate in ways that foster safety and understanding. I commonly support couples navigating recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, infidelity, intimacy challenges, and major life transitions such as parenting or relocation.

My practice is affirming of LGBTQ+ partnerships and non-monogamous relationship structures, and I provide a supportive space for all seeking deeper connection and resilience.

Sex Therapy

I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space for individuals and couples to explore concerns related to desire, sexual functioning, intimacy, and communication. With advanced training in sex therapy, I work with clients navigating challenges related to desire, sexual functioning, intimacy, and communication.

My practice is queer- and kink-affirming and grounded in the understanding that healthy sexuality takes many forms. Our work often focuses on reducing shame, deepening emotional and relational awareness, and developing a more integrated and self-directed relationship with sexuality.

Trauma-Focused Therapy

I work with adults who are navigating the effects of past trauma or overwhelming experiences that continue to influence their emotional life, relationships, or sense of safety. Many describe feeling persistently on alert, disconnected from themselves, or caught in reactions that feel difficult to understand or regulate.

Trauma-focused therapy with me is collaborative and paced with care. We first build greater emotional stability and awareness before moving toward deeper processing, integrating somatic, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-informed approaches as appropriate. The aim is not to relive the past, but to loosen its hold — fostering greater flexibility, self-trust, and agency in the present.

This work may be helpful for experiences related to childhood adversity, interpersonal violence, loss, medical trauma, or other events that continue to feel unresolved.
